How it works
In 4 simple steps you will have your fleet monitored and your miles tracked for the IRS.
Step 01
Connect the GPS device
Installation is simple and fast. You just need to connect two cables from the GPS device to the vehicle battery: the positive cable (red) and the negative cable (black). No special tools required.
- Locate the vehicle battery
- Connect the positive cable (red) to the positive terminal
- Connect the negative cable (black) to the negative terminal
- Secure the device in a protected location

Register the vehicle on the platform
Log in to GPS Spartan and add your vehicle with basic information. The process takes less than 2 minutes and you can register as many vehicles as you need.
- Log in to your GPS Spartan account
- Go to the Vehicles section
- Add make, model, year and plate number
- Optionally enter the VIN number

Enter the device ID
Each GPS device has a unique identifier printed on the equipment label. You just need to enter it on the platform to link the GPS with your vehicle.
- Find the label on your GPS device
- Copy the printed ID or serial number
- Enter it in the vehicle's "Device ID" field
- Linking is immediate

Start monitoring in real time
Once linked, your vehicle will appear on the live map. You will be able to see its location, speed, trips and generate detailed reports.
- See the real-time location on the map
- Review trip history and stops
- Assign drivers to each vehicle
- Generate mileage and trip reports
